Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, a weekly Meme hosted by the Purple booker that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
As my goal is reading 100 books this year, I thought it would be fun to jump back into this meme, which I have used several times on my blog in the past. Today’s quote comes from a book which I have probably finished reading the moment this post goes live: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.
We fear that we actually possess the talent that our still, small voice tells us. That we actually have the guts, the perseverance, the capacity. We fear that we truly can steer our ship, plant our flag, reach or Promised land.
