My evening routine

This week’s post is more about joy than about minimalism, then again, what is more minimal for planning than a simple a6 journal and a favorite fountain pen?

On to the post!

This past week I have settled into an evening routine with my bullet journal.

I wrote this poem about it that I posted on Instagram:

Just before going to sleep
I open my bullet journal
Close down my day
Scribble in the next

The more my pen moves
The calmer I feel
As if that one act
Is all my brain needs
To find stillness

The simple fact that I sit down and follow this simple routine, clears my mind and leaves space for many new possibilities.
It also shows where I have room to improve, for instance, if I haven’t done a task, I can add it to the next day with a bigger priority.
