I woke up this morning with my mind in a frenzy. This happens a lot. I walked to the bathroom and panicked over everything.
And then I learned how amazing this Stillness journey has been for me this year. I sat down, took a deep breath and said:
I am healthy
I am well
I am always safe
The thoughts still swarmed.
So I took a deep breath again and repeated the words. I smiled and I was still again.
Even now, a couple of hours after I woke up, I smile still.
It all was a good reminder that thoughts are just thoughts. I can choose to accept them or I can choose to live with stillness and love in focus.
I choose the latter 🙂
