decluttering in stages

A couple of months ago, I declared I was done with decluttering the bedroom. Today I removed a bag full of things to store/use elsewhere or to donate from it and there is probably more.

The reason why I did keep them?

“I might need it here”-itis.

This is a common thing in people with clutter. Instead of storing stuff in its logical place (in this case: my office as most of the things were office/book/spirituality related) we keep stuff where we might need it.

To make matters ridiculous: I have been known to walk to the bedroom to get a pen I needed in the office. 😂

Why do you let stuff clutter up your rooms?

What needs a space of its own?
