Simplicity, a poem

Wrote this poem while on vacation a couple years ago. It fits perfectly in my philosophy of embracing simplicity.

I am so different here,
being in nature forces
my inner child to the
surface, shows me that
I still am a being of
joy and utter

I am so complete here
all I need is a peaceful
place, free of clutter,
of distractions
All the things that
Bring a smile to my face,
make me want to create

I am myself now, being
of light and joy,
expressing myself with
deep and eloquent words
trying to find the
simplicity, the bliss
that lives in side me

“I am so different here,”
echoes through my mind
and yet, beyond all I
usually am, my
inner child always
beckons me to let
her out to play
