On my main blog, the first of December always means one thing: Gratitude Month!
This month is no different, and I will post on both my main blog and Joyful Minimalism to share what I am grateful for.
I bet that one thing you will be grateful for is not entering January with massive debt due to overspending in December.
So, if that is the case, I have made a little challenge: for the month of December, keep calm and don’t spend anything on wants.
Do spend on needs, like food, and the gas bill etc, and on gifts, but don’t buy anything else.
Don’t fall for sales, for tricks to get you into the store, waving your creditcard.
Don’t spend, focus on things you are grateful for, each day. Focus on spending quality family time, playing games at the kitchen table, watching a plethora of Christmas movies on TV.
Feed your heart, not your deficit.
To make the challenge complete, I have made a tracker. Feel free to download it and print it out so you can hang it up somewhere in the house or put it in your planner.
I’ve made this thing in two versions, as I couldn’t decide which one I liked best ?
