All that remains

All that remains is a blurry picture on my phone
A silver clad redhead bouncing across the stage
Her joy so infectious that I could not help
But smile at her antics while listening to her songs

All that remains is blisters on my feet
Memories dwelling, with smiles, in my mind
The sun, the moon, the stars aligned
We were in Glastonbury and it was glorious

All that remains is deep, heart felt gratitude
Towards my body, for managing trudging
Through the thick layers of mud, and also
Towards my mind, for not freaking out, mostly

All that remains is pure, unadulterated joy
I have been there, I have left my mark on the
Sacred music infused soil that is Glastonbury
Where forever remains, part of my heart
