(wrote this for the girls just wanna have fun bloghop, where one character interviews another. These are Jess and Zoe from MindScreens)

Jess didn’t hear Zoe. She stood in the doorway of the bedroom she and her love shared, staring inside, a sad look in her eyes.

Zoe pulled Jess’ hair and said, “I called you!”

Jess practically jumped out of her skin. “What? Something wrong?”

She took a deep breath and smiled at Zoe. “Hey kiddo. What’s up?”

Zoe held up her notepad and said, “I thought it would be a splendid idea to interview you!”

Jess scrunched her nose, and looked like she just ate something completely dirty. “Why?”

“People need to know about you.”

“Because of the work you do, of course!”

Jess let her head sag down, and sighed dramatically. “Alright then.”

Zoe clapped her hands and dragged Jess along with her to the living room. There stood a tray with a teapot and two brown coffee mugs.

Zoe sat down, and tapped on her notepad. “So tell me. When did you two fall in love?”

Jess blushed fiercely. “What does that have to do with my work?”

Zoe grinned. “Your curious readers want to know.”

“They couldn’t care less! Ask me about the work, anything!”

“What do you think is the most sexy aspect of his body?”

“Zoe!!!! Stop it!” Jess covered up her blush.

Zoe laughed to tears. “Oh my gosh, Jess! You are usually so together, all organized, and now I talk about him you just shut up!”

Jess stared at the door out of the living room. Her voice broke as she stammered, “Well… I love him, he loves me. That’s all that matters.”

She turned to Zoe, tears rolling down her cheeks. Zoe jumped up, hugged her tight, and said, “It will be alright. Now, let’s go have fun!”

Jess smiled. “What do you want to do?”

Jess giggled. “About who?”

Zoe sighed dramatically. “Seamus. Maybe I will start hating him soon.”

Jess looked at Zoe, and wondered when she would grow over her puppy love for Seamus. The poor girl deserved a boy that loved her for her. One day.
