When to-do becomes no-way

I just wasn’t feeling it this morning. I spent an hour behind my screen working on stuff for my website and I didn’t finish anything.

I struggled with so many things and really didn’t think I would be able to check off anything on my to-do list.

And then I just stopped struggling. Why did I have such a hard time with it all? What made my life so bad at that moment?

what happens when my to-do list weighs me down

It was my mind.

I was just bogged down with all the things I had to do and with all the things going on in the world and with all the things I still need to do to get this website up and running.

What makes tasks tedious: accepting change.

I was sick and tired of it all.

And that is what is keeping me from doing all the things I have to do today, and to find joy in everything I do.

But it’s my website. The tedious tasks are things I have to do to keep this website afloat. They are all annoying but important.

So if you’ll excuse me, I have some boring work to do, and I won’t grump about it anymore, promise!
