My TBR pile: Children/Young Adult

For my 100 books challenge, I have decided that some of the books I am going to read are going to be children’s/young adult books. I think that there are some stellar books written for children/young adults and I can’t wait to (re-)read them 🙂

Here are some books I am adding to my TBR pile.

The first book I am going to read this month is Winnie the Pooh, because that book has delighted me for so very long. I am in love with Winnie, Tigger, Piglet and their friends and just revisiting their adventures is going to be excellent.
The second book on my list is the Once and Future King. I have seen it listed under young adult on several sites, and that book is definitely on my TBR pile for this year 🙂

The third book I am going to read is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. For some reason, I am resisting reading it. It’s been on my shelf for a long time, and needs to be dusted off and read.

The fourth book is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. Already started on this one this weekend.

And lastly, Moon and Me by Hadley Irwin. I found this book at a library book sale and fell in love, immediately. I read it in one go and cried at the end. I just can’t wait to see if it touches me that deep again.

I also have a couple of young adult fantasy books/series on my shelves, but those have to wait until I am done with my edits. I will write a comprehensive list when I am ready to start on them.

I’ve liked compiling this list. I might come back to do this for other genres/types of books as well. I am long overdue for a re-read of some graphic novels, so I think those are next in line for a blog post. I will add some favorites to that post too.
